Today Project3R took out some of the AVID students from my high school out with the Ocean Institute to learn about taking care of our ocean. A big thank you to Captain Brittany at the Ocean Institute and the Massen Greene Foundation for supporting our education programs.
Today we saw lots of sea gulls and pelicans, tons of dolphins, a Minke whale and a sea lion. We picked up some floating trash with the net and did a small beach clean up too.
